Hi,  I played and sang the song "Stand By Me". I recorded rythym guitar, solo and vocals in different tracks. I used a sony external microphone.

I made my own solo. I hope you get a different taste.

I wonder your ideas about it.

EKN - A darned fine effort is this. Strong vocals, competent playing and a very in-the-mood-of-the-song solo. However, I afraid that these wonderful individual parts are hampered by being scattered to the 4-winds in the mix. Please, bring the drums to the centre, and have the solos slightly off-centre at your discretion. It is unnerving having snares and drum rolls banging away in one ear. Other than that, as I say, a fine production, and you've certainly got a future making music.

SteveB makes a good point about the mix, great advice there.  Great job on this most excellent song, you got soul in your voice.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Thank you osckilo, you made me happy that you listened to my previous record that was months ago. How nice my friend! I will bring more pieces I hope :)

SteveB and Bluesberry, Thank you for your reviews, I tried to bring my voice to the center, but as you said, drums should also come to the centre but I couldnt do both my voice and drums to the center  because I used a boss drum machine with bass and recorded it to one channel only and I dont know if it is possible to bring my voice and drum both to the center, I tried but couldnt do both.
when you listen from speakers it is OK, but as you mentioned, when you listen from headphones it disturbs.

Bluesberry, thanks a lot for saying the soul in my voice. I felt so happy.
SteveB, thanks a lot for saying me having a future making music. You really made me happy.

This is a very nice community to share our own music. It is nice to be here.
With the best wishes!

Love you 'scratchy' (don't know if this correct term) voice you have.
