I can tell you that it's been 21 days since my last drink... Had to quit in order to save my marriage.

But before this, every night I would drink at least a fith of vodka straight (sometimes more), along with a 12 pack of guinness... sometimes more. It numbs the pain at the time, but when you wake up, you're right back into the same situation. Also, I've never experienced a hang over in my life.

Thanks for sharing, Maverick. I'll have a drink or two, or maybe a couple glasses of wine, but that's my limit. Much more and I'd be sick AND hung over. I went through a brief binge back in the 80's due to personal issues, but that was it.
