Well, after hearing the sad news about Mr. Les Paul passing today, I pulled out my Les Paul and played over this "Shine On" backer.  My Les Paul felt like crying and wailing tonight, so I went with it, I was bending the strings so much the B string went out of tune half way through (I could hear it as I was playing), new strings put on just a couple of days ago, anyway, I kept going.  Here it is, going out of tune, one take, tears and all, my Les Paul and that fine backer.  Mr. Les Paul RIP.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Maybe we should dedicate a song to Les Paul and everyone play !! That would be awesome.  This is really cool. Your guitar was definitely crying.  Mine will too!!  And your OK as long as your G string doesn't go out of tune or stretch out.!!!

Damn BB... I had no idea a note could be bent in so many directions. Very nice... way to let that guitar sing.

You shined like a diamond from the off and let your emotion pour out. Very powerful playing indeed, great stuff. I just keep getting real emotion all the way through, that's a tough thing to pull off (no pun intended). Excellent, really excellent.

Cheers,

Nigel
