It's actually just a different version of the MP3 player that the site is already using.

http://flash-mp3-player.net/

However, you'll need to create an HTML page to use it. There's currently no way to embed the "Multi" version of the MP3 player in a message here. I sent Pedro a PM a month ago, asking if he could make this Multi player available in messages, but I didn't get a reply. I think it would be great if each member had the option of creating a message under "General Discussion/Introduce Yourself!" that included the Multi version of the MP3 player. They could include all of their posted songs in the player. Then, each time they post a new song, they could edit their "Introduce Yourself" message to add the new song to the player. What do you think, Pedro? Is this possible?

Meanwhile, if you're familiar with HTML, you can create a web page offsite and embed the Multi player as I have done. Take a look at the HTML source of my Woodstock or Golden Oldies pages to see how I did it. The section labeled "Jukebox Data" is all you need to worry about. There's also some documentation on the Multi player web page.

That's what I was thinking about - similar to what you've done on your site. I haven't looked into all the details, but thanks so much for helping me. I was planning on creating a website that played songs that I have done by myself and with other people here. I know there's myspace and soundclick, but that's just another hassle. Extra clicks and advertisements - Ugh!!This is the only forum site I regularly go to. Everything else is second best  :D

Thanks, man!

Anybody got a copy of Pedro's first song?

https://songcrafters.org/community/micro-br-b65/first-song/msg8/#msg8

Unfortunately, he deleted the attachment so it no longer plays in the Golden Oldies jukebox. If you can find it in your archives of downloaded songs, please send it to me so I can add it back to the jukebox. I don't know what the filename was but it should be dated around December 16, 2007.

I'd still love to get a copy of this file if anyone has it. I've learned that the filename was "lifes_subtilty.mp3" and the size was 2786.49 KB. Anyone got a copy?

I updated the Golden Oldies jukebox today, adding the new HTML5 mp3 player. While I was at it, I did another search and found 39 more songs from the first three months of Songcrafters (then known as microrecorders.org). That's more than double the number of songs (33) that were previously in the jukebox, so check it out.
