Blown away. Everyone else has beaten me to most of the superlatives I would have used, lol. This is astounding. This is one of those 'sacred' songs that you almost dare not cover, but you've done it so well. There's a lot of love in the way you handled this. I'm really moved by it. Just a pleasure to hear.

Thanks for the comments everyone , i've never played this song at any other speed than this , so i was worried when people said it was too slow , if anything it is slightly slower ,
but , you have to to make these songs your own in some way , and this is the way i hear it .
To me , John lennon was the next thing to GOD ,, if they ever let that m#ther f@cker out that shot him ,  like many other's , i would like to think , somebody might kill him  (slowly )
The Plastic Ono Band was John letting out all his frustrations about his early life , but was also aimed at Paul , this was , for me , an amazing album , i think i played it to death , and still do if the truth is known , but Walls and Bridge's is the definative Lennon Album , this is grown up John Lennon moving his music forward , we will never know what he would be doing now , just have to dream i suppose , V peace

I sure missed this one.  There's not much more to say that already hasn't been said, but I can confidently say this is one of the greatest covers I've ever heard, and it happens to be of one of my favorite songs of all time.  John Lennon is also my hero, my "god," if you will, so I understand and share the reverence you have for him.  To dare even attempt this take balls of titanium.  To do it with such elegance and precision takes incredible talent, which is obviously in you and impossible to teach.  I, like some others, thought it was too slow at first, but soon after you start singing, that thought fades away.  I like the added BG vocals that were not present in the original.  I like, no LOVE, everything about this.  Do you have an album out yet?  I will purchase it in a second.

Wow, wow, wow.  I bestow exponential wows on this.

OKO - Agree entirely. And I reiterate myself from early August '...The version you have provided here is so flawless, that if Paul McCartney had have had the choice to use this on Let It Be - Naked, he would have used it. It is that good. You have produced a masterpiece, very well done indeed.'

Good god. Goose bumps and visions of a ghost.

If someone told me this was the rushes from the session, I would have believed them

One of my favourites from the past, and so good to listen to it again to remind me of how great this was.
