just home to get some stuff, using the opportunity to post this song.

this is the Weight ... and the recording includes my new uke that wasn't as hard to play when I figured out that I could just pretend playing a guitar with a capo on 5th fret ....

Sorry I don't have time to comment on all the posts now, I'll be back in a couple of weeks and will try to catch up then!! I will fill up my iPod with the newest post so I can enjoy some good music on my cabin ;)

I'll try to post another original or two next time I get some time here.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Cracking job, Geir. This is a true classic that you've really done justice to. I like your 'gravelly' vocal, and the combination of uke and guitars gives a nice country-rock feel. I'm also working on a cover of this!!!! With mandolin, lol.

Looks like the country air and cabin life is doing you good!

Great performance!!!!!!

Yes! Great feel of 'The Band' but definitely your own style - The vocal work is amazing. You also did a great job with the drum arrangement 8). I am really loving this tune - it rivals the original.

And the guitars, lots of them, blended together so well.

Pure talent, bro!

Have fun at the cottage,

Mark
