I finish the instruments first. Then I put it in a MP3 file on my computer(don't want to lose it.) Put it back on my MBR thru the Line-in input and then do the vocals. I think I need to keep this alittle bit simplier. I would like the original file back on the MBR. Help...I'm making it up as I go along!

First, an MP3 is not a backup. It's a relatively low-quality mix of your tracks. You really ought to learn how to make a proper backup of your songs. See section 6 of the manual ("Using USB"), especially pages 104 and 105 (if you're using Windows).
