Hey great song just goes to show what those baggage handlers really get up to. Put one of there other tunes on,  Oceanside Again really reminded me of the country show bands you get in Ireland.

Just heard this yesterday. I was told (if it's true) that United finally contacted him, after 50,000 Youtube hits, and and is going to use his video as a training tool for their baggage handlers. I'll have to Google him and see if that's true.

There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

The subject reminds me of this Lighthouse song from 1972.

Broken Guitar Blues
Written by Ralph Cole

Woke up foggy-eyed in the mornin', leavin' for the road today
Grabbed my axe and headed for the airport, everything was goin' my way
Then the man at the gate said, "Hey! Whatcha doin' with that thing in your hand?"
"It's my guitar and it's goin' with me, seein' that it's my best friend"

Forty thousand feet an' I'm cryin'
I got the broken guitar blues
Forty thousand feet an' I'm dyin'
   Got everything to lose

Then the stewardess walked up and smiled and said, "You'll never get that under your seat"
"It's against the federal regulations. You'll hafta put it down underneath"
I said, "I know what it's like down there. Well, it's cold and it's dark and it's cruel"
They said, "Dontcha worry 'bout it, son. It'll come out lookin' just like new"

Forty thousand feet an' I'm cryin'
I got the broken guitar blues
Forty thousand feet an' I'm dyin'
   Got everything to lose

------ guitar solo ------

Forty thousand feet an' I'm cryin'
I got the broken guitar blues
Forty thousand feet an' I'm dyin'
   Got everything to lose

Forty thousand feet an' I'm cryin'
I got the broken guitar blues
Forty thousand feet an' I'm dyin'
   Got everything to lose

Forty thousand feet an' I'm cryin'
I got the broken guitar blues
Forty thousand feet an' I'm dyin'
   Got everything to lose

Wow great song! I take it as a warning :D

I loved how it said "no taylor guitars was hurt under recording" or something :D
If you loose track over a chord progression, play as fast as you possibly can. Nobody will know. Thats how they invented bebop.

Ha! Funny one BB. Not so funny when a Taylor breaks, though... :(

Cool rebut, 64G's - Pretty cool song, too.

Reminds me of the Who for some reason.....

The band in the first video are a local band out of Halifax, Canada.  The exposure they are getting from this video on u-tube is giving their fledgling career a real shot in the arm.  It turned into a great promotional gimmick that is working big time.  Next time you are pissed at "The Man" get it out there like these guys did.  Talk about taking a shitty event and turning it positive.  A big part of the reason this worked for these guys is that they wrote a really great song, and they kept it light with lots of humor, so it would connect with lots of folks.  No swearing and ranting and raving, just good old songwriting.
