I've been playing in bands from the 70's!   Now in a duo in Fredericksburg playing the winery circuit (big business here!)

Getting into digital recording.   Bought a used Fostex M16 multitrack recorder, older model.  Want to export WAV files to my desktop.   Does Fostex's Wave Master software work on Windows 11?   Hard to find info on this.   Thanks!

TPB

Not sure on the transfer but welcome from Mississippi

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

cool thing you playing the wine circuit... it is big in areas... fairly big in NC as well... though I don't play them they do have some open mics at some that I have played at.  Anyway... hope you have fun recording.. it is great and there is lots of help around the site here with the tech stuff as well as all over the internet...

Pay no attention to the people in that thread who say it's not worth using or keeping.

Learning the quirks, idiosyncrasies, and limitations of older gear is rewarding in its own way, and leads to creativity.
