I was having a strum and nothing was showing itself and this popped out from somewhere i even tried out a bit of blowing through the Harmonica :D and then a bit of keyboard drums.....well it filled out an afternoon oh i've never been to Tuscon by the way so i have no idea if its dusty it is in the cowboy films .....
I'm in a lazy town, downin  Tuscon
The sunshine wants to shine  all day
Till wind starts blowin in the wintertime
That the wind it gets real  cold
Some people down here  go crazy in the desert
Especially the ones alone
Oh their so alone
There alone
so alone

Precious dreams lost to the wind
Soaked up by the sun
You can't see the sky when that bus comes
And Everybody's  gone
Everybody's  gone
No you can't see the sky when, the bus comes
Everybody
Everybody's  gone
No you can't see the sky. when the bus comes
No you can't see the sky

Everybody  gone
theres no where to run
No work done today
Its all gone
Its all gone
All those people in the cue they've gone

No you can't see the sky  when the bus comes

I could certainly imagine this getting plenty of airplay on a "Mexican Radio"  ;)

A cool vibe with this song Trevor. The way you're playing the harmonica is reminisent of Dylan...good blowin' there. I've been to Tuscon and yep it can be hot, cold, windy and dusty. Excellent strumming and vocals. The line "you can't see the sky when the bus comes" is a killer hook!

You missed out on the chance to use the word haboob in a song. Look it up.

I've spent a lot of time in Tucson. My digital piano and Telecaster are on long-term loan in Tucson.

I love the sound effects. It gives it sort of a retro-futuristic feel, in the same way that "39" by Queen visits the past and future at the same time. Tucson isn't that dusty – at least not all the time. But your song evokes a Mad Max type landscape – a post-apocalyptic near-future version of Tucson that's not too hard to imagine. It evokes the same kind of imagery I imagined reading "Good News," Edward Abbey's only science fiction novel.

This could be from a modern era western movie soundtrack. Great song with amazing harmonica additions!
