I was messing about with soft synths on my iphone and then, some more soft synths on the macbook using an akia midi keyboard. There are 5 or 6 synth tracks.I fell down the rabbit hole a bit. i then added a simple bass riff, then used the fender tele to play a two chord riff, four separate times layering the guitar for drone effects, then warbled over the top of it. Gawd only knows what it's about.
I walk in the spaces between things that breathe
Where the street melts into the sky
I reach out touch the edge of nothing
Let it curl around my finger like smoke
It's a quiet rebellion
Breaking the straight lines they never question
I leave my shadow in places they fear
I let it wander down strange paths
To find all the colours no one has named
Where light falls in crooked angles
It's a quiet rebellion
Breaking the straight lines they never question
It's the pulse of what's hidden moving in circles
Learning to feel the weight of empty spaces
Here senses unravel like threads in the wind
And I see a world a world with out edges
A place a place that waits
It's a quiet rebellion
Breaking the straight lines they never question
Making my own language in silent gestures
It's a quiet rebellion
Breaking the straight lines they never question
A Quiet Rebellion

it doesn't matter to me what it is about... this is really great...
the vibe is amazing... love the synths and the voice.  words into the air and into my mind that are part of the music... it is all good...

Cool song, really cool synths and I really enjoyed the lyrics .. they are quite mysterious ..

Don't know why this reminds me a bit of Voyager-era Momus - maybe it's the lyrical content, or the squiggly synth thingies? I like how they contrast with your guitars and bass.

Lots of imagery in those lyrics too, delivered well with your vocal style.

Sounds really good. The many layers work well together and give it a great atmosphere
