New Gear: Yamaha Reface CP

Not too long ago, I caught my eye on this little keyboard up at the big Long & McQuade (Canadian music store chain) in our province. I had been thinking about getting one for a while after seeing it around in other places and finally decided to purchase one. This thing is a miniature keyboard loaded with fantastic emulations of Rhodes, Wurlitzer, Clavinet and, of course, Yamaha CP keyboards (another famous 70s keyboard used by Genesis and Wings to name a few). It comes with lots of great sounding built in effects as well that really make it fun to mess around with. I was playing it a lot today and I'm excited to finish up some song ideas I've made using it...

It looks like a very compact, useful piano to have in the studio! The piano sounds I heard on the youtube video sound great. I look forward to hearing it in your music.
