The village was having a tea party with a little music then the stranger appeared......
Pokey old uncles sat in the circle
Discussing the news of the day

The sweet smelling aunts stood making tea
Chatting watching the chidren at play

The doorway standing empty
Waitiing  with ferver
For the stranger to enter the fray

The dancing began with the toll of a bell

And he entered the room like a matador
His chest heaved and swayed
To the beat of the drum from the music that played
And the girls went wooh
Wooh
They'd not seen anyone like him
Not in this part of the world
He was foreign
Misterious and Handsome
Confident to enter alone
Alone

Where was he from
Did anyone know his name
Suspicially they viewed him from a distance
Wondering why he was there
With a flash he trhew of his coat,
his hat flew in the air
With a clap of his hands
He started to dance
Stamping his feet to the floor

Hypnotically
Mesmerised
The crowd watched him dance
They stood and watched him dance

The made up maidens started to en circle
As the stranger progressed with his dance

The sweet smelling aunts stopped drinking tea
And started to do more than glance

Suddenly there's a flash and no one was there
The mamtador had left the room
Everyone  stood and looked at each other
Wondering if they'd dreamed it all
Who was he ?
Why was he there ?
Why did he dance ?
Why? did he dance ?
Why ?
Why?
Where did he go?
Where did he go?
Where did he go?
Why did he dance ?

Woah! Spooky stuff.  The bloody Spaniards - I new it.  Always after our maidens.

The clapping and 6/8 rhythm is so ethnic it hurts.   And the clapping.  All it needs is some fat women with castanets stamping around the place.  Imagery is wonderful.

This needs to be a Hammer film.

Many years ago, not long after I left school, I got to see  Paco Pena playing in a local technical college.  It was great when he was playing solo flamenco stuff.  And then the hefty "dancers" started.  You couldn't hear the man at all.  I suspect there may have been some structural damage done to the stage.

Nice Spanish/flamenco vibe here! You are a great musician and singer. I admire your skills a lyricist, too. What creativity on it part as well.
