Trevor posted this song earlier this month and I suggested that we could get the Collective to do an arrangement.

I kept Trevor's original vocal and rhythm guitar parts and added a few bits.  A whole new overture section (pretentious? Moi?)and a gratuitous guitar solo section.  Hammond, piano and synths from the Arturia V collection, strings and brass from Spitfire studio orchestra and solo strings.  Electric guitars were played on a strat through an AxfxII.  I also guested on low "Sacrifice" vocals (the honey monster on the right)

Drums were largely programmed in EZdrummer 3.

I will post a link to soundcloud if anybody should wish to hear a wav version.

Enjoy

Jeez, nothing pretentious about this groovy piece of prog rock. The arrangement is stunning as is the overall production; amazing creativity. The instrumentation is stellar with excellent playing/performances. Some of that keyboard work ... just brilliant.

And then we get to Trevor's vocal! OMG just the perfect icing on this fantastic cake.

Great collab, guys and splendid work.

guys you have your own genre here. yes it's in the prog ballpark but there are so many other elements and strange quirky happenings. But it's pinned down with a definite and very cool melody. great song gents.

majorly cool and at times does go into the Kansas territory, which always works for me... but its only at moments... this is all you Paul and Trev...
I love what you did with this... it was a good song before too... but this made a whole new song... very pro... like it was cooked up in Dr. Hyde's laboratory... notice I used the good part of him... because this is good... but it is a bit quirky too... not too  much though..
clean... clear... perfect...pro.

You guys are f*cking crazy, this rocks! Fantastic vocals and instrumentation, really enjoyed how one has built off the other and it turned into a piece of artwork. Lead guitar rules.

The end.

Fabulous progger. If you draw a triangle between Yes, Kansas and Deep Purple,  this would fit right in the middle. That's the sweet spot for me!

Wow, that first 1.30 mins was pure brilliance. The sounds, the organs, synths, the effects, the drums are just brilliant, great guitars too. And Trevor's vocals. The music is awesome though
