A beautiful cover JP. I know Sting's version well and also Eva Cassidy's version..I've always found it to be a very sad and emotional song. You've done a great job !

Le mois dernier, j'étais à la cérémonie funéraire de ma chère voisine Carol qui n'avait que 57 ans. Pendant que le cercueil était transporté dans l'église, la version de cette chanson d'Eva Cassidy a été jouée. C'était un moment si triste.

Actually I didn't know Eva Kassidy, so I looked her up on Wiki and learned that she died very young of a melanoma

Avant de prendre ma retraite, je devais quitter la maison tôt le matin et Carol partait toujours au travail à la même heure. Elle aimait les chiens et a laissé derrière elle un adorable colley barbu, Bailey. Elle a toujours aimé mes chiens, le petit Louis et plus récemment Benji qui la faisait rire en regardant par la fenêtre.Elle nous manquera beaucoup..Je n'ai jamais vu notre église aussi pleine de monde.

Beautiful!  I know Sting's version well, have not heard or know of the Eva Kassidy version.  It seems to start out slower and mellow, which is interesting and emotional, but then picks up when you have the strings come in.  You also did a great job with doubling the vocal.

Beautiful performance JP.
I recently bought an Eva cassidy album rather fittingly from a cancer research shop and although her voice is stunning It does depress me because I know her story, so sad.
This is a lovely cover ,you have done well on the vocals as well but for me JP it's all about the instrumentation with you.
