A bit of F'ing and Jeffing going on in this modern day protest song......I really should stop reading the papers its no good for my blood pressure...now get up on your feet and get ready to march.

As a young man, I believed there was such a word as truth
But as I grew older I realised that word had been abused
There's no truth left in the world  today Its all been grifted away
Mixed with too much information that holds no sway
Now we've got lost within that grey out there
Yeh we all got lost but now we've found away
Now What is it we think when we read the news
When we hear those words told to us aloud
That hidden truth is told to us through the lies that we are told
But does anyone really understand their code
if we do become aware their afraid the population will explode 
What are they doing?
Now, What is the plan?
Come now  we've all got to try to understand
We know they are lying
We know they cover up
We know they have the bare cheek to fuck us all off
They grab our money and give us less and less in return 
There's people working 40 hours and they still fucking starve
The rent is going up
The food bills getting high
They have the audacity to even tax you when you die
They tax you at source so there's no place to hide
Then waste your fucking money on a train called HS2
That money would help the likes of you and me
Now tell me what the fuck are you going to do
Sit there and take it  like you always have
Or get on your feet and demonstrate aloud
Yeah millions of us out there screaming this can not be aloud
That we an't gonna take it
We ain't gonna pay your tax
We're not gonna give you fuck all
we want it all back
Yeah I want the truth
I want to know what's the plan
I'm just ordinary like every fucking working man
Im fed up with the take take
I want something back
A good standard of living wouldn't be bad for a start
To  walk down the street with my chest out proud
To be part of a country and not feel like one of the out crowd
Treated  like a fool and kicked aside
While the fat cats get fatter
I want a seat on their ride 
I don't want to be someone who sits back and hides
Letting others
sort the problems out for me
That's not gonna happen I'm gonna get on my feet
Now get out there and demonstrate that enough enough
That the working man has finally had a fucking enough

I didn't notice any bad language. I though the F word was already part of the common vocabulary... I did try PEEPING when the F-bombs started flying, but it sounded way more worse that way.

Great tune Trevor. There is a punky attitude to this. If John Lydon did an unplugged session it would sound like this. Love all the lyrics. I think most of the world now is plain just confused. News has ceased to be news. Depending on what you are watching/listening to it's really just propaganda from one side or another. All the while most ordinary folk just want the f**king truth. Great song.
