the music, whose main theme is by James Horner

The film is a fictionalized account of the life of William Wallace, played by Mel Gibson, a hero and symbol of Scottish independence, who in the late thirteenth century led the united Scottish clans against the troops of King Edward I of England, who were attempting to invade Scotland. The film won five Oscars at the 68th Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. However, the film contains many historical errors, mainly related to the fact that the film is based on a 15th century epic poem that has been criticised for its historical bias: The Wallace.

Alfredo made me a nice instrumental backtrack of piano, double bass, strings with BIAB and I added the theme to the whistles

Thank you guys, Alfredo helped me remarkably well

For the whistle ...it's not easy...I have to work in sections of a few bars because I can't memorize the piece well enough

...and then you need a good reverb, or go and play in a deep valley in Ireland or Scotland with a nice natural reverb

This is wonderful JP! Very moving work on that whistle, you can never have too much reverb on something as lovely as that! Alfredo music is great accompaniment, hope he is doing well! Captivating stuff...

Excellent work. Definitely has a cinematic feel. Everything is perfectly played and placed. The whistle sounds lovely - very poignant.
