An early song from an early album. I was on a music site that started a tradition of "Blues Thursday" where every thursday artists were encouraged to post a blues track. This was essentially a live take with an acoustic. Then another acoustic and slide and harmonica added. I was just getting to grips with harmonica after a couple of months practice. Anyway, the track proved very popular and is my most played cover track on Spotify and my second most played cover on You Tube.

very nice version .... I love Robert Johnson...I did it on SC, I don't know if you had heard it?

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

I love a bit of blues - and I love this.  I never got to grips with the harmonica, and the old lungs are a bit too shot now to try again.  But you certainly got to grips with it to a fine level after just a couple of months.

Very impressive, and very enjoyable.

Very nice!  I've listened to the original and familiar with covers by Clapton and the Stones.  So you're in great company and have done a great job, both with the original live take and overdubs!

A cool take on this Robert Johnson song. I dig the blues harpin', the slide work, and the swagger in your voice. I hear why this gets a lot of plays on Spotify. Good blues Ron!

Everything sounds great and I think the harp playing is especially nice.
Very authentic-sounding blues.  Are you playing cross harp?

These days I just dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Very impressed with that Harmonica playing. I could never get to grips with it. This is well mixed and very authentic. Played with love.
