Beautiful finger picking here, I absolutely love when you record in this folky style. Great harmonies here too and very cool song!

Yeah beautiful stuff, very familiar tune to me, heard it many times, probably by many different artists. Probably The Dubliners version was played the most I guess... Great version JP and super playing. The thing I like about your music is you don't hide behind any fancy, effects, gimmicks or editing (unlike me! :) it's just you and your instruments as it is... fab.

not always ... in 2017 I had already made a cover of this song..but more in the spirit of the dubliner with violin, mandolin, accordion, bass (with the BIAB guy's:)

I first did this version because I didn't have the PDF tablature of Pierre Bensusan)
the tablature at the request of the administrators (and what is normal) was removed from the Attachments for reasons of copyright to be respected)...but I suppose I can send it in private mailing if it interests somebody, ?)
