Just introducing myself as this is my first post.  I have a Boss BR-600 that I do a lot of recording with and could not live without.  I play synthesizer and guitar and I jam with a neighbor who is a great guitarist and also his roommate joins in on guitar as well.  We mainly record with the excellent on board stereo MIC's of the BR-600.  To me at least it sounds more raw, in a good way than when we record the output of my mixer through the line-in of the recorder.  I used to think I couldn't live without the stereo effecs of my synth but the natarual reverb and ambience that you can't get without mics makes up for the lack of L+R effects.  I do still really want to get a second Keyboard amp so I can run in stereo, at least me and my neighbor will be able to hear my modulation effects in stereo!

I also play guitar but so far only solo though over a beat with a synth loop kind of thing, I love it though.  I have a 1962 Sears Silvetone 1474 Twin-Twelve Reverberation tube amp with the original Jensen Alnico speakers, it is my pride and joy.

I have a bunch of songs all of which were recorded with the BR-600 mostly using the onboard mics mainly with me on synthisizer and my neighbor on guitar.  These can be heard at:

There are also a few of my Solo songs where I play guitar over some drum/synth loops.  I like a lot of effects and feedback fed into my old Silvertone tube amp so beware.

I will post some individual recordings in the BR-600 section but thought I should introduce myself first.

Our music is instrumental, improvisational and experimental and follows no preordained structure but I realize it is not for everybody.  Anyways, look forward to learning more about this amazing device and hearing what others have done with it.

If you loose track over a chord progression, play as fast as you possibly can. Nobody will know. Thats how they invented bebop.
