Well as some of you know I posted a Demo of this song and asked for some help in completing it as I had difficulty doing the lead parts. Ray kindly got in touch and submitted some killer Blues Harp and some guitar.

I had great fun editing what he sent me and I was finally happy with this mix. I have been so over fussy with this recording but it just bugged the hell out of me and I just could get it to sound right and I am glad that I kept going and so glad that Ray stepped in and completed the track for me so here is the finished song.

Zoltan

You got a powerful collaborator to help with the song! Ray Brooks has a lot of style and an great ear on composition / arranging and music in general! :) Those harp additions are class. They're suave and fit the song without drawing too much attention away from the core of the song.

The key to this song are the lyrics imho and the quite "stiff" sounding groove works for this song perfectly. The harp playing adds some much needed relief to the sound by being more natural and open sounding.

(If i had done guitars for this one it would sounded like a proto grunge band performing country with walls of distorted guitars, and more off notes than the ones that hit the mark :D).

Great stuff!

Hi Dan,
Greatly improved, and great song to start with!
Agree wit Zoltan, classy addition and suave execution, without messing with the core of the beautiful song.
Love your collaboration.
Thanks for this recording.

Now we're talkin'! Was about to comment on the fine demo but the harp really adds to the great vibe you already had going! Love it!  8)

Major swag points for me!  That harp really bumps this way up...your vocals are exceptional to me on this.... the bass line is remin of CCR but the song feels a tad like Dire Straits playing with America!
I dig...

It's a great song and good old ray has transformed it to the next level, like only he can. Some impressive music and vocals all round. Excellent collaboration.
