Né quelque part is a song by Maxime Le Forestier published in 1987.
The refrain of the song recalls the first article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
of Human Rights: "All human beings are born free and equal in rights. They are endowed with reason and
They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. The lyrics of the chorus
are in Zulu, written by the singer Aura Msimang, a South African political refugee.
She arrived in France in 1986 and has also worked with Mory Kanté and Manu Dibango.
The lyrics of the chorus: "Nom'inq wand'yes qwag iqwahasa" means "when you have a violent mind, you have it too
it is also confused".

Thanks Pete, just like you I think in England, we suffer from the heat wave ! 36° in my attic home studio...I think I'll stop music for a few days...

This is a beautiful song by Maxime Leforestier and very topical with the migratory flows that we know in our countries
The bass, the percussions are of Band in a Box, the guitars the song "c'est bibi" (familiar French expression to say "it's me)

Wonderful performance JP! I really like the sounds you're getting hear and they really pull me into a certain space inside me head. There's a touch of 80's to this production and something i'd call as "french sound" while others might call it "euro sound".

You're really great at singing in english too, but i prefer to hear your vocals in french

The grooves and overall vibe of this song is quite interesting. It feels like a pop song of the day (late 80's - early 90's at the most), but there's a hint of "reggae" -type of feel in the choruses and the way it grooves at those points.
