77 Fest...

From a classic album... one of their best, and this was AC/DC at their peak. The great thing about doing an AC/DC cover is it's quite relaxing. You don't really have to worry about much doing the mix... just set everything to "loud"... job done

All done fairly quick (for me), an hour or so each evening for a few evenings. Little bit of practice to try and get the rhythm down.

Cheapy Harley Benton Bass
2 rhythm guitars
Couple of overdubbed solos
Drums in Garageband... I shifted a few of the beats around on the intro to be a bit behind the beat
Main vocal and 2 backing vocals in the chorus

That's quite a bold statement, but you seem to be able to back it up!

I chose against doing AC/DC stuff because i could never do the vocals justice and would probably mess with everything else too

Sounds like the evenings were well spent. I really enjoyed this one and i especially love the way you're making it your own. The vocal performance is a lot more laidback and less strangled than on the original and this made it easier to enjoy the lyrics too. Before this version i think i've only heard a word, or two and mainly enjoyed the song for the music.

My,what a rocker.
I love Acdc,this is a favourite.
You can tell every lyric sung as its crystal clear.
And those guitars are excellent.
An all round superb performance.
Nice drum programming as well.
