Here's a cover of The Ramones debut single, released in February 1976. This song has been very significant to me, a holy punk anthem indeed. So, I was browsing YouTube to seek "drums only" covers of the song. Then, I found a real good drum track by Charlie Fader and downloaded it onto my BR-80. I recorded bass line and right channel guitar. Then I thought; who would sing vocals on it? Then I remembered Cuthbert, another big Ramones fan. He did the vocals and played left channel guitar. I send a message to Charlie that is it ok to use his drum track and he said yes! Thanks Charlie and Cuth. So here we go. Thanks for the listening!

Hey ho, let's go! Hey ho, let's go!
Hey ho, let's go! Hey ho, let's go!
They're forming in straight line
They're going through a tight wind
The kids are losing their minds
The blitzkrieg bop
They're piling in the back seat
They're generating steam heat
Pulsating to the back beat
The blitzkrieg bop
Hey ho, let's go
Shoot 'em in the back now
What they want, I don't know
They're all revved up and ready to go
They're forming in straight line
They're going through a tight wind
The kids are losing their minds
The blitzkrieg bop
They're piling in the back seat
They're generating steam heat
Pulsating to the back beat
The blitzkrieg bop
Hey ho, let's go
Shoot 'em in the back now
What they want, I don't know
They're all revved up and ready to go
They're forming in straight line
They're going through a tight wind
The kids are losing their minds
The blitzkrieg bop
They're piling in the back seat
They're generating steam heat
Pulsating to the back beat
The blitzkrieg bop
Hey ho, let's go! Hey ho, let's go!
Hey ho, let's go! Hey ho, let's go!

Well done guys! It's a great song to begin with and you're doing it justice.

You're getting great tones out from Micro BR. Special mention goes to the backing vocals. Those are smooth!

digging the vocals... it's a little like early 60's turned punk... those guitars are great...

the guitars have a Joan Jett feel but thats because she used sounds like this and played this way... so I guess so did the Ramones...
I have heard this song before but admittedly wasn't a punk rocker... but i dig what I have heard of it on the site here...

My first wobbly steps in guitar playing were made to the It's Alive Ramones album in the late 70's (which now sounds like the time of the fall of the Roman Empire). Point is I grew up with this stuff and I owe a lot to it.

And it's a f#cking brilliant version you did here, I love it.

The kids are losing their minds, man.

Kudos all around, especially Charlie's drums and that great wall of sound. Killer background vocals under the lead vocals as well. Fun.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

This is really brilliantly done - all around great listen.  I've heard the song before, though not listened to it a lot - but can tell you've totally got the right vibe.  Cool that you were able to use a real drum track too!  And cool guitar sounds out of the little Boss boxes!
