Today's '72 indulgence is a copy of a Sabbath song from the 1972 Vol 4 album.

It's GarageBand for drums and percussion but real guitar (Tele', two tracks; neck pickup and bridge pickup panned left and right). The Squier bass went down well last time so I gave it another spin. Then there's vocals from me and a chipmunk.

Excellent cover! You totally nailed that thick, heavy guitar sound that's all over Vol. 4 and Master Of Reality. The vocals are very fine and the guitar solo is pure Iommi goodness, you got the feel down for sure. Great!

Geez yes it's true you got that Sabbath feel going in spades here. A lot of work gone into this one. Great vocals, scorching guitars and lovely drum programming too. I saw them on their "The End" tour. They were good, still rocked!!

decadent indulgence indeed!  killer guitar sounds and loving that thmping drum.... it rocks a good one!
hard for the teenager that dwells in me not to like this one!  Once section there actually reminds me of Clapton playing ....

you can call me anything you like.  Just don't call me late for dinner

It's not a band I listen to much, but sounds good.  Especially the guitars, beautifully played  and recorded and good amp or amp sim settings!  Tell me more about the chipmunk though?

You channeled the thick and creamy, heavy guitar sound of Tony Iommi's to a tee! Thanks for the time travel back to my youthful days Nick!
