So if anyone is wondering, these songs are damn hard to play and sing. Very chordy with complicated melodies. & not only learning to play it is hard but to find my own way into these songs has proven to be quite time consuming, not to mention new fingerings for the banjo...6 songs to go, not sure I'll make it.

You certainly make it sound easy! I like your style and that you're making the songs your own. This is a huge undertaking that you've taken on. I salute you and hope for a safe journey :)

Solid and memorable performance. I think i have stolen some of your strong vocal chops. There's been times when i've though... What would Hook do? (The fuck do i know... :D)). I've just eaten more air...

what doesn't kill you makes you stronger they say...ha.. I don't know how you could play so many songs really... sometimes I get lost in 1 song for days and days.  You seem to breathe music...pretty cool and you are such an entertainer.
banjo sounds great.... it's gotta be a challenge doing a whole album...

I can imagine the complexity of learning this. This would drive me a little crazy trying not to make a mistake, or else punching in would be my friend. Sounds great though, so worth the effort.

The vocal is different on this track - was it recorded differently? it feels airy and it occupies a different space to the previous tracks.

And a different technique on the banjo here too.

Some rare key changes too!
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

I really like this one - some of those chord changes are phenomenal. I can hear how tricky this one (let alone the whole album!) must have been to cover. Your vocal is so clear and pure, and it works beautifully with the banjo. Amazing! And congratulations!

This sounds a wee complex song, how did you aproach this song, did you do it by ear or have a uke chord sheet available.
The vocal is so crisp and clear.
Nice one.

I have the Ultimate guitar and Chordie apps, and between the 2 you can find most everything. UG didn't have much of this album so I relied on chords and if you don't buy premium it's a bit of a pain in the ass but they are pretty good charts. I wouldn't have been able to figure out most of these songs , to many chord variations I didn't know and just learning the shapes on the banjo was hard enough. This one took me the longest to learn to play through.
Thanks for listening guys ,
Rock on!
