Bunny Wailer who passed away in 2021 was an original member of Bob Marley and the Wailers but also had a solo career as a singer/songwriter. This is a track from his 1976 album Blackheart Man.

this is a touch like a reggae spiritual... cool... the longer this goes on the more great it is.

 I'm doing a song and I wanted to do a strum guitar in the reggae rhythm..I couldn't do it ...I understood when I heard your song it's on the low beat of all the beats

Merci JP - I used one of the vocal effects in the Boss BR 800 - it adds a 3rd, 5th and High harmony to the original voice.

good thing figuring that out...it sounds good... I know the BR1600 has similar that I have used sparingly... but i am not recording with that these days.. but I am keeping it because sometimes I get nostalgic plus it has great guitar patches

I have a device Vocalist 5  that gives similar effects (voices 3rd and 5th )..but I never used it in recording..I'll have to try...

our youngest son is 17 and on the way to school we were listening to this... he was digging it... and he doesn't like much of what I listen to so that is the reach here...

That's nice to hear Stephen, maybe I should specialise in Reggae ! 
Even Mrs C liked this one - she normally hates my singing.

This has got the solid reggae groove - the bass is locked-in and pops in the mix, just like it should. Great reggae vocal styling too.

Loved everything about this Pete. Cool guitar and the whole cool reggae vibe hits the spot. Reminds me of being back at art college and in the student union bar where they often seemed to have reggae bands. Vocals are brilliant.
