Hi all, it's a horrible day outside unless you like wind and rain so the perfect time to try out my new guitars. Hope you enjoy.

Supra Martinique, Aria Mk2 Fullerton, Fender Precision. Drums from GarageBand. Lyrics by Mills and Boon (Sorry)

The setting sun was falling slowly
It painted red across the sky
She asked if I was still lonely
And wiped a teardrop from her eye

I guess it's been so long since I held her
My arms remembered her this way
She held me tight as she whispered
Are you really back to stay

I held her close as I told her
I'm yours forever and a day

Instrumental

She said oh please never leave me
You broke my heart once before
I'm here to stay please believe me
I'm gonna love you more and more

Lovely stuff Willie. A chilled out vibe and it's great to hear a happy, warm song like this of course with those beautiful guitars driving it along. Lovely lead playing too.

I thought I'd commented on this?
Or did I?
Dunno... but it's fabulous all the same.
Slightly affected by the red wine here... you know, tongue loosened, feeling pretty good, can't see quite straight (or type), but pretty much chillin...

And this track is utterly the RIGHT thing for this state, for me...
The persistent strummed acoustics give me "you're ok Andrew"
The leads are gorgeous and help keep me focused.
And the vocals are utterly gorgeous.

Marvellous production on this, the guitars really chime and the drums and bass groove along nicely. The vocals here are stellar as well. Great as always Gobi/Willie!

I knew I'd been commenting while drunk last night, and I knew it was potentially cringe-worthy...
But I couldn't remember, what when how...
Are here it is in your song Willie!!

And actually, my comment is not as bad as I'd imagined, and I stand by every word and sentiment.

Sadly, I'm sober at the moment, but it sounds just as good.

Very enjoyable track, Willie. Love that signature sound you have with the jangling guitars and great laid-back vocals. Lovely soloing on the lead guitar too.

Yeah It's been wet and windy here too lately..this is the perfect song to take your mind of it and it's a great song. I like the sound of the new guitars, some excellent playing, great music all round. Really nice production and vocals. I really like the lyrics. It reminds me of Jeff lynns stuff.

This is a really good song all around, but what really draws me in is those guitars. You've got the magic touch. The jangly rhythm is a smooth ride that carries us to another place. The lead work is phenomenal. It is a perfect fit for the tune, the mood, and takes us out beyond where the vocal leaves off.
