Gary...?...THAT is one heck of an awesome song?? Your guitar playing and tones are superb. You also really nailed your slide guitar work. WOW!! There is so many great nuggets of guitar and sound in here...it's hard to know where to begin...that opening rhytmic riff is very early Rush like so major points but it is not a copy...more points... (:16-:24)
then there is the slide(?) lead that sounds so good...remin of lots of cool guitar but for me it's like that great Lunatic Fringe...
Then at 1:17 the cool string blings with the chorus clean or what that is and the birds cackleing...way cool...1:47 where it makes a sharp bank to the left and goes into this cosmic flanged lead, then back to the string blings... and the little string slide noises...
dude...this is an amazing piece... it's major major majorly good in minors I would suppose as well...sorry that is the best I could come up with...
