I love the left of center nature of this. Fun listen. Technical question: what is the opening guitar?  It sounds a bit like an unamplified electric.

I dug the Syd Barrett (after the acid) interlude. It's wonderful how you re-enter the tune after that part. I'm also a big fan of the unresolved finale.

That opening guitar is indeed an unplugged electric, actually three tracks overlaid and sung over. They were actually me figuring out the melody and words - it was kind of all spontaneous and improvised at that stage. Those random voices in the middle section also come from those recordings.

I'm actually really pleased with how it all turned out. And I never would have written it without the SongCrafters fest to spark the creativity and I'm still so grateful to you guys for that.
