So about six o'clock this evening I was doing the dishes before going upstairs to do the ironing and I started singing this melody. When I went upstairs instead of ironing I did this.

Life is so much fun

Just think of all the things

Sounds perhaps like a football thingy... guitars and keyboards sound great.  Interesting lyrics and vocals... ended quick but good stuff.

Great bit of Indie pysch! The short, lofi poppiness of the track reminds me of what I have heard from the band Guided By Voices. I love the off the rails ending to the song as well, it's like it disintegrates before your ears! Very creative and upbeat!

I had this idea that it should have the feel of the improvised messing around bit in a band's practice session. Loose, disheveled and unresolved, incomplete.

Never mind  the ironing, quirky pychodlic,  cool!

I've uploaded a new version, now with a new verse after all the psychedelic middle break. I lose the electric guitar and replace it with acoustic and drop two semitones. The lyrics in the new verse are all about contrast of being a hard working professional as opposed to a top-three rockstar championship winner.

And in case you were wondering if this about no-vax Djokovic, it isn't: if I'd written a song about him it would have been a very different one.
