RIP Alan.
I watched a documentary last night on Status Quo on Prime. It was very good.
They weren't an intellectual band in any way, but wrote some classic tunes. You cannot help but boogie along and move with the beat.
With their original lineup, they had a striking driving sound - insanely tight and rhythmic. You can feel the pulse and its deep rooted. The later versions were never the same.
Defo worth a watch.
