This is my attempt at a Nirvana song for mimicfest. Gotta be one of the faster songs Ive written and recorded, started the idea earlier today. Dug out a Boss Blues Driver for this, great pedal it is. I just sort of improvised the lyrics as I went a long. As Kurt put it, "melody and music first, lyrics second". I can't help but feel the same way...

Ha! This is great Everything works in a very Kurt like manner. You even have the Jazzmaster at hand and lyrics that are angst ridden downers Yet it's weirdly uplifting
The sounds are in keeping with the style and so are the performances. Superb stuff!

I also like the fact that you're micing up the amp. Kinda makes me want to go that route also, but i must resist. Otherwise i have to move into a tent, or under a tree!

That's great all the ways! First of all cause it's agreat song. Sencond for really, as I really loved Nirvana much, it gives me really the illusion of a Nirvana lost track ... that's to say a treasure ! Bravo !!!!

Nirvana I only heard minimal amounts of....but I heard this today in the middle of my 1 hour treadmill romp...and i must say it rocks a ton...a ton...
I am sure this does sound a lot like Nirvana but some of Rush's later stuff sounded alot like this as far as the guitar sounds etc...

Perfect "lost Nirvana track"! Everything works fine here. Sounds to Nirvana more than the original . Brilliant job!
