I started the first part of this track a few years back and then i lost the track files when my PC broke. So i finally decided to try and finish it, it was obviously not the same as the original, but i wanted to go for that old western style sound from the movies from years ago.
I hope you like it. Thanks for listening.

What a big sounding soundtrack. How did you accomplish thes orchestration for this? This could work in any action type movie IMO.  Really enjoyed this

Thanks Ron. I used some orchestral type libraries that I have, orchestrate them in Logic Pro x on my keyboard. The main libraries were project Sam and orchestral tools orchestral libraries.

Sounds great I really liked the break and tempo change at around a minute into it well done

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

If you're going for soundtrack work I think you nailed it.  Has the rugged western sound.

This reminds me of the 90's era hollywood soundtracks. It certainly has the western feel and sound to it. More in the vein of Quick and the Dead (1995) than say Rio Bravo (1959), or The Great Silence (1968). It's uplifting and action oriend sound with a bit of a cliffhanger feel thrown in for a good measure!
In fact now that i think of it there's a hint of Rambo to it also :) All in all a very much the 90s sound. Nicely done!

Thanks everyone for the comments. :) I think I might have to edit some of the end section as the timing seems off. I'm  not sure if I can
Repost an updated track on this page without losing the comments ?
I don't want to repost another version.?

Sounds great, very cinematic and I like the different sections of the piece. You really nailed the genre. I didn't notice any timing issues in the last part, but then I'm no composer......

DarrenG if you need to update the track it's possible without the comments getting lost. Just edit the original post and remove the old file and select the new one.

I can reply this with the certainty of having done it once :D
