surprising! a classic, but revised and corrected by ODH...it is certainly not the usual instruments of the country music but it is very successful

It took a while for me to get this one, but after a few repeat listens i'm finding its all kinds of weird & wonderful! I love the original, and although i'm fan of these kinds of punked up cover versions they're also of aquired taste. Now that i hear the song i can't stop thinking of it as a song for a series like South Park! I can imagine an episode with a Kristofferson cameo as a lonesome drifter with this one playing in the background.
