Hello gang here is a wee collaboration between SE (John) and myself

John posted up a track for collab a little while ago and I liked it so thought I would give it a go. I wasn't sure what to write or do vocally as that side has been a bit empty lately so in the meantime I just riffed along with Johns track for a few days trying to get the feel of it on guitar. So that side sorted itself out quite well I think... you now have the 2 of us riffing away having a good time. As I was getting up to speed with the guitar part I came up with the lyrics. The chorus came first - the sweary bit - then the rest came very quicky, just a sort of old man angry ramble :)

Anyway here it is... thanks John

John: Guitar, Bass, Drums
Me: Guitar, Vocals

Everything is fucked but I don't give a shit
I'm gonna keep on living just for the sake of it
Everyone offended just for speaking your mind
You're not gonna fix things just by being kind

I've seen enough but I'm not leaving
I fact I've got nowhere to go

But so what
Who cares
We're all fucked

Screwing up the present by messing with the past
It's all gonna crumble it's not gonna last
I'm standing on the sidelines I'm not gonna play
But I'm gonna be a good boy I'm gonna behave

Even the truth has lost it's meaning
But this is progress so I'm told

You keep on doing what your doing
No you don't need no help at all

But so what
Who cares
We're all fucked

---Break---

Even the truth has lost it's meaning
But this is progress so I'm told

But so what
Who cares
We're all fucked

So I'm gonna get drunk yeah I'm gonna get pissed
I'll wake up in the morning and what I missed
But I know deep down it's gonna be the same
So tomorrow I might as well do it all again

No one could mess it up much better
Now we're just waiting for the fall

But so what
Who cares
We're all fucked

But so what
Who cares
We're all fucked

A fun song guys! The vocals and your rhythm guitar fits like a glove, Mike. A great guitar sound and structure as always Jon. The language isn't offensive at all to me...well done fellas!

Oh this is just brilliant!

What a great track from John and such a lovely performance from you Mike (with your accent coming through!)

I love it - like a song Lily Allen should have written.

Great collab!  Killer catchy guitar riffing on the backing track , and vocal fits perfectly.  I get saw doctors vibes from this.  Anyone out there like saw doctors?  (I got into them for a short period in the mid 90s after a guy from UK lent me a cd)
