This was recorded solo, live.  I'm not a piano player, so I had to transpose and simplify the chords to be able to play while singing. At 1:03 I kicked in a keyboard rhythm pattern by pressing a button on the fly, and also added some rhythm fills and changes by pressing buttons on the fly.

I recorded the keyboard and vocal (via CAD D90 mic) into the zoom R24 (seen on the right side).
I recorded the video with my iphone and matched it up with the audio file in Reaper.

You can also see in the background my "1985 synth!" and my Fender Bass and Fender Guitar.

Lovely and yes I was admiring the synth and the bass!

I've got a toy casio keyboard from the 80s that I still use occasionally.

It's always great to see the artist in live action! This is such a cool performance. I wish I could play piano half as well as you do....nicely done!

Bravo Doug
QuoteI'm not a piano player
..well it's not bad at all I'm like you piano beginner and it's not easy to sing while playing the piano... we tend to follow too much the singing phrasing on the chords

very interesting video
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Great live performance and the keys were good too also a rookie key player so can appreciate the effort

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Hey! Great to see you performing, and you make a splendid job of this - especially for live. Unlike me, you can play it properly! Such a warm and genuine performance. Lovely!
