When I decide to do a cover song I always do a search in SC to know if such and such a song has been covered

and indeed I found the (very beautiful and different) version of Geir in... 2010, oops I was not born!
please listen to Geir's version

Mine is more "classic" I was inspired by Ringo's live performance in 2005 and I tried to reproduce (with difficulty) the sound of Beatles in the 70s

He may not have been the best looking or most talented but he was the best human. He used to personally reply to each fan letter until only recently when he couldn't handle all of it anymore because there was too much.

..et l'histoire de cette chanson est intéressante, à lire sur WIKI  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octopus%27s_Garden
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Nice version, JP, lovely to hear your Gallic flavour on this. Thanks for the link to the article too, that was a nice insight

Great version JP, there's a lot of work gone into this. I really enjoyed the performance here, a great feel to it and some lovely guitar work. Bravo!

BerryPatch

Great version. Loved the lead guitar playing in this one, you really captured the spirit of the original. Everything else sounds pretty close as well, from the jangly guitars to the great backing vocals.

Mike_S

Very lovingly crafted JP... really feel good vibe... excellent stuff.

Delightful, JP. You've captured the feeling of the original, and duplicated Ringo's drum patterns perfectly. Nice work!
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

I enjoyed listening to this on your YouTube channel (I'm subscribed!), and just listened to it again here on songcrafters.  The guitars (playing, tone, and mix) are especially great on this!  You are a lead guitar god!   Jam on!

(ps. the drums are great on this too - nice attention to detail there!)

Nice one, JP. A completely charming cover with lots of lovely detail and musical flourishes. Love that lead guitar tone and playing.
