This was fun and I really needed this to get me out the funk I was in.  It really helped alot.  It didn't take long because I kind of had a way of playing it already but this is the first time I played it on an acoustic.  I really liked it with the bass and simple drumming.  This is a stereo acoustic guitar track, epiphone bass (with a touch of overdrive), drums.  Vocals are 2 stereo tracks with the zoom mics.  all recording and mixing on the Zoom... and mastered at LANDR site.

hope it doesn't offend anyone...the Beatles are iconic....

Well I wasn't expecting this. Being a combination of Helter Skelter and Steve, I was expecting sonic mayhem. Instead, I got a really cool alternative version with a completely different feel that works really well. I really liked your vocals on this, and it's a really different take on a heavy tune. And I think it works, well done for going down such a different path!

Wow - I'm looking forward to more like this.

Good job Steve, not an easy song to do and you made an excellent cover.      Willie

Really enjoyed this Steve. I love the chilled vibe of this, I am a big fan of most things chilled and with a tinge of psychadelic vibe too it ticks two great boxes. One sting I noticed... it sounds like there is an alarm ringing throughout the track very faintly. I was wondering if this was intentional or just maybe a nearby house alarm or something. It is very faint, but me being a weirdo I thought it added to the song nicely. Good work on this all round though.

Mike, my goodness... i heard that the other night...I did the vocals at work and outside the office door there was an alarm going off that I didn't pick up on until I had already done the recording....golly gee...good thing my hearing is a bit off...or that would drive me nuts... I probably won't mess with it though...kind of different I suppose.

Kind of the alternate universe version. Essy going, laid way back and cool.Easy does it, no need to get all worked up,  just get the point across.
I like it!

A very creative and well-done take.  Transform the hardest rocking (first "heavy metal" song?) Beatles song into an acoustic number.  You pulled it off well
