I stuck a 2 gig card into teh BR and it worked fine, but it initialized at 1 gig. Now, I don't know how to re-initialize the card to get it to handle 2 gig again. Anyone got any ideas? I will use a 1 gig card in teh BR, the 2 gigger will be used for other things if I can get it to be a 2-gigger again;)
Thanks in advance.

You just need to re-format the card in Windows using a card reader. This will erase everything that's on the card but you should get the full capacity back.

Or you can use this software from Panasonic:

http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/sd/download/sd_formatter.html

It formats an SD card in a way that complies with the SD Memory Card specification. Apparently, your computer's operating system might not (but it will still work).

THanks, I ended up going to sdcards.org and downloading that same formatter. Did the trick. Windows kept wanting to format it at 1 gig only.
