This is a collab between myself and JP. So what we got here is my backer, which a kind of funky, mellow thing. Just a bit of a groove. Jean Pierre kindly offered to put down some lap steel to make an instrumental version.

It ended up being quite trippy and mind bending I think, think Mike and JP go down the early Pink Floyd route!?

Anyway thanks for listening... and thank you JP  :)

Ooh, loving this. Superb backer and lovely slide (and other leads). I really liked the heavy section at around 2:39, an awesome change of mood and feel. I adore all the guitar sounds, the lap steel and everything else. This one really works so well, you should do more like this.

You are right, it would fit right on to Obscured by Clouds no problem. It sounds like it comes from that era Floyd. And you reminded me that I was due to go and see Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets yesterday (now postponed for the third time until May next year). So this was a nice substitute!

Greeny

The lovely slide definitely takes it into Pink Floyd 'Breathe' territory. Some nice reverse-sounding psychedelia going on, and all held together by a solid groove. Trippy indeed! Excellent.

Delicious !!

Fab sounding trip going on here.

love it

I totally get the Floyd comparison, that's what thought when I first heard it! Great job guys.

Jean Pierre

Thank you Mike for this great collaboration

I hope that Warren will give us a definitive version of the sung version, which is nice

I have to admit that I like David Guilmour's work on Lap steel
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

As soon as it started I thought of pink Floyd too :) especially that slide guitar. It sounds brilliant. What a great collaboration. So many good collaborations on this site I don't think I've seen that on other ones I've used in the past. Great work.
