Three guys (Lorne Reid - Mexico, Ron Bowes - UK, and Farrell Jackson - USA) have an informal internet group called The Cuzin's. We come together (between our personal projects) whenever one of us has a musical idea that would fit The Cuzin's style...what ever that is, lol. We've done about 6 songs so far. Here's the latest.

Credits:
Lorne Reid - music idea, mix, drums, bass, guitar, and 1st solo.
Ron Bowes - Backing vocals and slide guitar solo.
Farrell Jackson - lyric, melody and lead vocal.

Covered in Dirt
(V1) My baby done left me...said I don't pay attention
She drove off in my hot rod...how can I do my wrenchin'?
(V2) She took all my money...even took my keys
That would be kind of funny...but she left me with the lease
(Chr) I'm going down...in a world of hurt
Feelin' six feet under...gettin' covered in dirt
(guitar solo Lorne)
(V3) I thought things were going well...thought it all was just fine
No need to throw me in jail...just because I drank a little wine
(Chr) I'm going down...in a world of hurt
Feelin' six feet under...gettin' covered in dirt
(Slide guitar solo Ron)
(Short Bridge) I'm in a world of hurt...I'm getting' covered in dirt
(outro) My baby left me...now I'm all alone
My baby left me...she won't answer the phone
My baby left me...I'm in a world of hurt
My baby left me...now I'm covered in dirt

Jesus H. Christ what a great rocker this one is! Excellent stuff, Farrell - vocals, guitar work - just everything. Great to see my old buddy Ron involved too. Superb blues/rock.

Yes, I love this - Like Saijin Maas would say "The epitome of badassity!". Wicked roadhouse rock with pure nastiness built in! You guys are a great trio, well done!

Good band here. Rocks, southern hard goodness.
Loved the solos, both are great.
Both vocals are perfect. You sure know how to sing it Farrell.
I'd put the album in the car for constant plays.
"...a guitar sound that you could curdle cream with." Ferryman

"Whatever that is"   is quite good.... this is raucous.. roughhousing music... anyone who can make a guitar sound like a horse is one rockin cowboy!

Wow, that is so good, you guys have something special. That guitar riff/ melody is bloody great and the groove is infectious. Love the drums too. excellent music all round. Great vocals and lyrics.
Yes good to see Ron Bowes involved too, who I also know. A proper rock song. Look forward to hearing more. :) Darren.

'Covered in Dirt' is a very appropriate title for guitar that filthy. An absolutely brilliant rocker with bags of attitude and swagger. Brilliant job on the vocal too. Great stuff :-)
