Again a quick one before putting the boys to bed with the Gibson in alternate C tuning again a bit Zeppy.....Thanks for listenning
Some people want all they can see
They want you and they want me
they want to keep hold of that big shiny  key
They want what the seeker sees

People only believe in what they see
What they read is what they believe
The puppeteer controls the strings
To all those who want to be king

Some people laugh and others cry
Cause they can see behind the lies
That there is  nothing there when we die
Nothing but the sweet blue sky

The night time comes and it gets real dark
People weep and dogs do bark
The darkness comes to cover the mind
To take belief from the blind

People believe in what they do  read
And want you and me to believe
They want to stand and hold the shiny key
They want what the seeker sees

kind of the idea behind the song "Everybody Wants To Rule the World."......

I love the guitar work on here.... sensational.....the sound and the strumming and the progression... I don't know if it's just me but it seems like your guitar playing is getting better and better....

cool vocals here too...love the vibe... and yes it is Zepish...that is not bad..

I love the plush-ness of your guitar strumming and sound Trevor! Great vox and words...you've definitely channeled Mr. Plant...nicely done there.

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

Ray Brookes

Certainly a Led Zep vibe here, Trevor and as Farrell says - you've definitely channelled Mr. Plant's vocal. Cool song and the energetic strumming works very well here. Nice incisive lyrics too.

Another good led zep inspired song. I like the guitar sound you use on these. Catchy and great lyrics and vocals :)

Yeah, sounds a bit like Zep melodically and in that guitar. The vox, too but maybe an edge of another 70's era band that I can't quit place. At any rate, I'm digging the vibe.

Is this a song for Boris.....? ;D Another classic Trev effort, great energetic rhythm guitar and compelling vocals over the top. Very nice lyrics, I really don't know how you manage to turn out so much high quality material. Great stuff.

Greeny

The alternate tuning just adds to the Led Zep flavour - i.e. when they're in their 'folk' mode. It has a great quality and vibe. The slight swirl on the guitar is very atmospheric and the percussive strumming carries the song really well. And a great vocal performance of course. Nice one!
