CutUpFest (banner image missing)

Was messing about with guitars and Macbook this morning, not sure if i got caught up in a trance or just fell asleep, anyway once the music was done , i took some sentences from some political blogs i follow and took the scissors to them. One for the cut up fest.
It is what it is.
You can't help but wonder
Yet here we have a man
who had clearly been selected
declaring you kindred spirits
he may come to wish
He'd got his contribution in early
the more thoughtful individuals
May tend to take his word
they really should be asking questions
explicit, not to say emphatic
for all eternity
It makes no sense
What is not said
reluctant to admit
What's so special about little indications
No matter the subject of the question
twitching my political antennae
There is no disgrace in revising one's opinion
Because I have a masochistic streak
trying to speak over the top of everyone else
it's far less possible to understand why
that it was more appropriate not to
It's very difficult to escape the conclusion
nodding heads who only nodded
But then we shouldn't have been surprised
Having listened to their arguments
most often of a worthless value
you need a good story to tell
to be successful
they find it is they themselves that now are left
noticeable only by their absence

Good sense of atmosphere, those urgent drums really cut through. Interesting results from your cut up, it has sort of dream like quality to lyrics.

Ferryman_1957

Like Keith said, a cool dreamy atmosphere with a great drum sound pulsing along. It all sounds great, and a good vocal over the top. The stream of consciousness cut up lyrics work really well and the way you perform them fits the goove nicely. Very nice indeed Jim, a great cut up fest entry.

Cool stuff, the drums and synth make an excellent  backing track to your stream of consciousness vocal which is just cool!

Mellow vibe and a persistent beat. Floats along and eases the mind.

This does have a nice gentle, dreamy sound. And your soothing vocals really fit the music. Enjoyed! :) darren

Some great lines in there. And that dreamy wash of sound behind the vocal is superb. Another shout out for that hypnotic, trippy drum beat. Very good.
