Shameless 60's pysch (again  ::) ;D).

The Harley Benton electric 12-string feels built for this kind of song. Plus Telecaster, Ibanez Bass, Garageband drums and various pedals.

It's all about the beat  ;D

here we are in the undertow
rip tides in the undergrowth
undertakers putting on a show
I hate to say that I told you so

'cause you've been bleeding like the sun
through the hammam ceiling stars
and you've been shifting like the sands
in the astral wind on mars

undertow
down you go
like a lilo that's deflating

here we are in the undertow
go straight to jail do not pass go
till the monarchy is overthrown
heads on spikes for the hungry crows

'cause you've been bleeding like the sun
through the hammam ceiling stars
and you've been shifting like the sands
in the astral wind on mars

undertow
down you go
like a lilo that's deflating

I love some 60's psych songs. This sounds great. Love those jangly guitars. Got a good foot tapping beat. Excellent vocals and lyrics.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

The HB 12 string sounds great here Tim. Like you mentioned it's a song style that's made for it. Cool words and bass playing. I like the how you hold the word "deflated" to help resolve the chorus section. Nice work!

A lovely slice of jangly psych, I particularly like the changes during the "undertow, down you go" section, they really are non-obvious and add a great musical twist to this one. I also loved the sound and feel of the Tele on that little lead break, very nice indeed. Great vocals and lyrics as always - I had to Google hammam, nice use of that in a lyric!

Another fab Greeny Monday tune.

Love that 60's sound you get, Tim. The jangly guitars and those fluid bass lines along with great vocals. Straight off 'Rubber Soul' and excellent lyrics too that stand alone in a poetic sense. Brilliant stuff.

Started reading the lyrics prior to listening and have to say....I had to look up both lilo and hammam! As always Tim, your lyrics are outstanding!

The music and vocals are also "right on man, far out!" Love the harmonies and that chorus hook! 8)
