Well hardlock decided to jump into the collab and provided his unique guitar talent to create this version of the song.  His guitar is sometimes hard-hitting with terrific growl and soulful melody lines. I thank him for his contribution to this project.  Today, I am putting the finishing touches on kenny mac's version - soon to be posted.  This version includes Kenny's wonderful and clever lyrics and terrific guitar work (watch for posting soon).

Hardlock and I hope you enjoy this version.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

DarrenG / The Devil's Toupee

The guitar backing sounds awesome on this, it has a film score sound to it.  Thumbs up. Darren :)
I have 2 profiles on this site, (NOW COMBINED INTO ONE PROFILE PAGE)
One is a musical partnership with Keith Allen, ( we record songs as "The Devil's Toupee").
The 2nd one is for my other musical projects and collaborations. (DarrenG)
Thanks for listening.

Nice cool bluesy number, Mike and I agree with Darren it has a soundtrack quality to suit a movie or TV series.

I heard this today on my big speakers that are triamped PA speakers...with about 4000 watts of clean power available...and this sounded amazing... my stuff is not audiophile but it sounds really good...
I thought this is so Alan Parsons....and I love his stuff... because he uses these really long instrumental parts as intro's or outros or in the middle of songs with singing and lyrics...
This is a wonderful collab...  and I think it would really be cool to the nth degree to take another add on to it with a vocal and lyric....but obviously this is great as is....
this is something i will hear lots of times...

Lovely work. The guitar sound and style really suits the backer and takes it to a whole new level. I was really impressed at how the guitar lines stay interesting and don't fall into repeated phrases, that's really hard to do. A really good collab, well done guys.

Greeny

Classy and soulful. The expressive guitar adds a great mood to an already atmospheric track - great playing Ken!

Excellent guitar additions.
This would work well as others have said as a soundtrack for a movie.
Love the way a song can go in so many different ways by so many different collaborators.
Well done.
