Love reading your lyrics, Tim; excellent imagery. This is great songwriting with a contemporary dark view of the nation's capital. Musically this is first class as always with that lovely bass line and jangling guitars, the perfect beds for the super vocal work.

Great opening line "has this city lost its mojo squire?" With this line you grabbed the attention. It's a lovely song. I love the chord structure and I especially love the sweet lead guitar line accompanying the dark chorus lyric in an almost mocking way. Very good indeed.
