Well my Grandma and parents spoke brough with the accent and alway tried to make us speak American. First time went home with the wife she freaked out because when everyone was talking I slip right into the accent without noticing. Any way this is a fantastic song for the fest well done brother. Spring is heading your way got my garden planted last week so you are getting closer

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Fantastic! Had it cranked up in the house and the wife came home. Thought there was a party going on!

hey Tim...those accents and dialects are hard to shake. You internalize them and they pop out easy in certain environments.
As for my garden, yeah Spring and planting time are getting closer...only a couple inches of snow now in my raised beds...

Thanks TonyC for the L&C...my lineage is English and Welch..no Irish. Had to fake it...

Kari...thanks for checking it out. The melody  does tend to stick in the head, which i attribute to the fact that the main guitar riff and the vocals are one and the same throughout the entire song. Man your last collab post  with Ella and Greeny was unbelievably good. Loved it!

Kenneth...St.Patrick's Day party at Ken's house everybody! BYOB!

cheers to all...

Really has an authentic Irish tint to it. In fact, i assumed it was an older folk song until I clicked over to comment. Great job on the lyrics, very fun song indeed

I really enjoyed this... lot's of fun. I got a little touch of the spirit of Jethro Tull in there. The instrumentation is really creative and gives a really magical feel to it... almost Lord of the Rings type feel for me. Cool job.
