Trev was nice enough to ok a collab I made from his great original here:

https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=30754.0

I added a drum track (on mic channel with vocal effects 1 accidentally picked when recorded. Sounded RUDE enough for this great tune by thetworegs! Then bass from my Roland keyboard and lead using a couple high-gain patches from my BR600.

Hard to work the lead between the lyrics but hope I didn't step on any toes! :P

Others stated it needed full build up of other instruments and some said it was great as it (yes indeed) but this mix relays my vision of what I saw in my head with I first heard it.  Hope some agree!  Cheers!

Listening to this on my crappy speakers at work can not wait to fire this up in the studio and as they say crank it up I think the adds really help set this song off well done to all

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Bluesberry

This is so good H-lock....great job on the drums and keeping with the original dynamics....guitar work is fantastic....it is a proper 70's blues rocker now.....you have unleashed the beast that was lurking under the hood.....fantastic collaboration lads....great job on mixing it all down....

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Wow, great job on those drums! They have that real Bonham power to them. Excellent guitar work too and a great balance in the mix overall. Great job guys

Ray Brookes

Great rocker here and love the drumming. Got a Zep kinda feel and those guitars rock along with great aplomb. Excellent collab here, guys.

Well put together guys. Definie cool Zep vibe. Killer drums and i love the bass cranked up like that.
Pretty ingenious how this all came together. Good work...

I like the idea that there can be multiple mixes/ versions of songs....some will like various versions better etc....
personally I love your drumming and it amazes me how well you play guitar as well Ken (considering your drumming roots) , I like this song alot before....and now it's a great song but really to me it's totally different with focus shifting a bit....
nothing wrong with it to me.... and i dig the bass and lead guitars....it has a modernized 60's lead sound....

Thanks for the good words all! I'll be here all week! ;D

Once someone mentioned for me to maybe do more originals. I was finding too many repetitions in my tunes so by adding to other's material it breaks me out to explore different styles as such. Always have fun learning.

Hell yes! Enhances and brings out even more of that Zep flavour. Really rocks now. You are some drummer (as well as guitarist). That lead guitar tone is so delicious.

Great stuff.

DarrenG / The Devil's Toupee

Love the slow intro build up, when the music kicks in, Yes it's bloody brilliant. Sounds like a led zep track. Great guitars, drums and vocals. :)
