Reg-o-matic for the people.....fun sounds and a deadly vocal performance...I notice the last 3 minutes or so is silent...is that some kind of artistic statement ...like a tribute to "SmallTinsOfFruit's "autum song" https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=5027.0 perhaps.....?

Ha! I'd forgotten about that. Thanks for making me laugh, Dave  ;D

There's a nice, loose groove on this. Kind of early 70's funk. And a top class vocal of course. The wah is excellent but I especially liked the rhythm playing on the other part. Nice work!

Ferryman_1957

Brilliant sound and feel here Trev, superbly performed and a killer recording, great tones on everything. Really enjoyed this, it's a great groove and the wah is very effective.

I was expecting a longer song and was disappointed when it faded out, I then kept fast forwarding through the rest of it to find your "secret" ending.....

But like Dave said, maybe Small Tins of Fruit invaded your track...?

hardlock

Funky time all the way! Personally, as a drummer, the "loose groove" takes some getting used to but coming from the era of the drug generation, many fine hits shared that same feel.

That said, I find it's hard to sync wah wah echos with the rhythm but if one wants to, it helps if you first get the effect to align with a tempo track then into a bounced groove and the rest falls into place. Just saying, not complaining. ;)
